TESTIMONIALS:

“From the couple weeks before my shoot to the minute I walked up to Lindsay’s doorstep, I was beyond nervous! I had done a lot of research and I knew Lindsay regularly works with industry professionals and agencies.

The fact that I had never done a professional photoshoot before made me more nervous. I was just a college dance team member who needed headshots for pro dance auditions.

However, the minute I got there, Lindsay was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. We sat down and just chatted for about 30 minutes before even talking about the shoot. She asked questions about my experience in dance and school and really made me feel so comfortable talking to her.

When it came time to shoot my first few shots, Lindsay gave me great pointers on posing and what looks best. She was so patient, walking me through the shooting process and answering all my questions. Even though I came into this with no professional experience, Lindsay made me feel like I could do this every day! Not to mention, Larke, the MUA, was also amazing and made me feel so beautiful!

By my second look, I felt like a pro because Lindsay made me feel so confident in front of the camera. And by the end of the day, I was so sad it was over!

When I received my photos, they looked AMAZING and I had the hardest time choosing which ones I wanted to edit. I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience with Lindsay!

Whether you are an industry professional who does this all the time or you are getting headshots for the first time ever, Lindsay will help you feel confident, beautiful, and powerful in front of the camera. “

“I’ve put off getting professional headshots done for a long time. I thought it wasn’t worth it or that I could jut get a friend to take my photos. I was insistent that I could take a cheaper route to getting photos done but I realized that not spending money on your portfolio, especially as something in the entertainment industry, is truly self sabotage. Why have all the training and all the skills if someone can write you off in a second because of an unprofessional looking headshot?

I say this all to urge you to invest in yourself. You are your own business and just like you’d reinvent your earnings into the company you’re starting, you gotta do the same with your art form. By investing in yourself not only are you putting out the best version of yourself possible to potential clients but you’re also subliminally telling yourself “I am worth it.” “I am worth the money because I will make it all back. I can take the risk because I’m sure I will reap the reward.”

So fast forward and I finally get the courage and self compassion to get headshots via recommendation of my new wonderful bestie/agent Megan Hunt [MSA], taken by LRP.

When I tell you this woman is the definition of professional I am not exaggerating. I walked in to find my name written all over her house, a full room dedicated to getting ready, bottled water with my name it, and the most welcoming energy. What makes Lindsay so special is she truly treats you as a best friend. We sat down and she got to know who I was as a person then got to know what I wanted out of my shoot. She truly listened and COLLABORATED on my looks and the styles we went for which i appreciated so much.

By the time we started shooting I already felt like I knew her for years which made me so relaxed and ready to produce the best shots possible. As we shot we exchanged lovely conversation and took some amazing photos. It truly felt like a group effort and I felt so damn comfortable during the whole process. I could speak for days on how much I enjoyed this shoot but basically if you need headshots… THIS IS YOUR GIRL!”

“Lindsay is unlike every other photographer in LA!

When I entered Lindsay’s space I was automatically sweeped in to her boutique home photography studio of wonder! My name graces the entrance with a “Welcome Kloii” sign near other photos spread beautifully across the rooms. Lindsay lead me to the living room where we talked for what seemed like an hour or so about the dance industry, pro teams and valuable tips she shared with me about both worlds.

After our fun talk, Lindsay assisted me in selecting the perfect outfits for my shoot and lead me to her hair and makeup room. Here, even more personal touches made me feel so welcome: signature water bottles and wall signs hung with more of my name on them. This boutique style experience made me feel special and ready for my shoot!

The actual shooting process was the best I’ve ever had. She gives a lot of direction which I absolutely LOVE and allows you to see the frames. Some photographers are weird about that for some reason but not Lindsay! I feel being able to see my photos during shooting, especially the first few frames, is really helpful to see if my angles and overall modeling ideas are landing.

My favorite part of the overall experience was the modeling tips Lindsay provided me. I found that I’m more comfortable modeling, now, thanks to Lindsay I have new insight on my modeling and a clear technique to practice.

If it isn’t clear by now, I’ll definitely be back!”
